But if you took out the ads and the continuous lead ins about upcoming stories, you got about 10 minutes of actual news. And it wasn't substantial. Some was just fluff. It seemed like there should have been more happening in the world....
Then along came 2020. Stuck at home. So in an effort to find out why the entire world was shut down, and not finding anything but fear from MSM, I turned to the internet. You tube had news agencies from around the world! I hit the jackpot!! WION from India, BBC, France 24, SKY News from Australia, even Al Jazeera. Amir Tsarfati from Israel, OAN, Next News Network, Dan Bongino podcast, the Benny Show, Lumberjack Logic, Black Conservative Patriot, LV Nation Canadian Prepper. Turning point. Tucker. Many, many more. So many channels and people talking about things in this world that made sense. After the war in Ukraine started I followed a young soldier on the ground (I don't remember his name). TousiTV is a new one. This young man is Iranian, his father is still there, but I find him delightful! Robert Gouveia is excellent. If you want to see the lawsuits against President Trump. He goes through them and shows replies. He walks through them. When Fani Willis was caught by Ashley Marchant, all that was shown. It was better than any soap opera I've ever seen. Then along came X, Rumble, Telegram. And when I recently found Substack, I felt like I was at home! Since I started this truth quest, I'm finding it easier and easier to sort through the bull that is being pushed. Sometimes I just block people who have no redeeming qualities and the Karen's and other whiney idiots are also blocked. Now I get real news, and commentary that's worth listening to, the truth. It's been an enlightening journey. And I haven't watched any MSM since 2020.
I used to walk out of conversations about politics. I didn't know anything about it. I thought it didn't really apply to me. It didn't matter who got elected. My life was fine without it. But I now LOVE politics!!!!! My bullsh** meter is always on and works really well I would say. I get turned off with all the foul language that people use and it isn't necessary. I'm not highly educated but I know enough words to use to get my point across without using disgusting words. Words that are or should be understandable to an adult and sensitive enough for 8 year old ears.
You have followed a discovery path that a lot of us have been on, amazing isn’t it, feels like you just woke up from a brainwashed trance. You did! Isnt it amazing how multiple truth sources allows for logical critical thinking skills of your own. You say you’re not very educated, a piece of paper these days doesn’t mean smart. You show your intelligence by your awakening and persistence and hunger for truth and knowledge not being manipulated by lies. I came to Substack for same reason. People with dialogues rather than insults, name calling and debasing comments because you dare to have an opinion., because you dare to excercise your right to free speech.Unfortunately it’s very clear THEY are infiltrating here as well not understanding the concept of what this platform was meant to be. It was not meant for just political conversation and clean debate though often seems that’s how it’s mostly used; it was meant for multiple topics to be expressed in a creative platform for writers and poets an journalists and just ordinary voices with something to say about endless variety of interesting topics. We need to encourage more of that as well. It’s what connects people as a community and grows healthy individual thoughts and minds.
Additional note, I also find Epoch news interesting with content and documentaries well researched not being heard on other platforms, good in-depth reporting , also can access medical and financial news on their platform.

Who is really controlling the Big Networks? Who really “owns” these “powerful” media outlets?
This is something that warrants investigation by the FBI and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Where there’s too much power and big money involved, it leads to corruption, deceit and propaganda used to deceive the American 🇺🇸 public.
To put it mildly, this is Censorship. No wonder in totalitarian regimes, the media is tightly controlled by the government as they don’t want their citizens to know the truth about anything, especially from the outside world. China & North Korea are just a couple of examples.
FYI: I no longer trust nor watch the mainstream media anymore. You won’t find any apps for CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS on my smart TV.
To that end, I’m happier than I ever been than before as I don’t miss out on the lies and the daily negativity.
It’s simply folks, tune out and tune in to positivity and you’ll find yourself feeling better.
Don’t need an investigation, it’s public knowledge who owns all the media platforms. Follow the money. More recently last year I believe Soros bought 200 radio broadcasting companies, that’s because they plan to silence conservative radio.
Isn't there a law against conglomerates? I have no idea what agency controls it, but I understood it to be that their job was to deny a Sale by those whose sole intent was to get the monopoly and thereby "control" the "sheeple". Where are they? Why hasn't something been done? Are they asleep at the wheel? I have no power to control any of it. But we gave over to the government. I think we are on the right path right now, but our own is turning their backs on our chosen government over petty disagreements. And so the corruption continues.
